I made lots of mistakes on this batch - just taking notes for next time here. After initial rise I delayed the bake a few hours (not my intention) putting the cut rolls in the refrigerator, seems that dried them out. Baked these at 350°F. Checked at 20 min, left in until 30, probably should have taken out at 25. Pretty sure I added the 1 T sugar to yeast to bloom but forgot to add the other 1/4 cup before combining with the dry ingredients. Used 3/4 cup milk - dough on stiff side. Will try scant 1 cup and dust flour while kneading next time. Rolled out thin. Maybe 15x10” rectangle. Rolled up short side, made 8 good sized rolls. Could get a dozen small rolls if rolled long side. Used white sugar in filling - will use brown next time. Sprinkled on some chopped pecans before rolling up but forgot my raisins. I used dental floss to cut these (full loop around and pull tight)...nice circles! Did not get the icing on this time - there's always next time... May also skip cinnamon/nutmeg in dough, and add 1/2 tsp nutmeg to filling next time.
