2 1/4 cup AP flour (415g)
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup roasted nuts (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
2. Combine all dry ingredients in separate bowl.
3. Cream butter, sugars, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
4. Add egg one at a time until combined.
5. Incorporate dry ingredients
6. Scoop onto cookie sheet and bake for 9-11 minutes.
7. Leave on cookie sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to cooling rack.
* Refrigerating the dough will help from spreading but may increase cook time.
* Don't wait to pull cookies until browned completely, they will continue cooking after removed from oven.
